Day 1 : 


  • After landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport our ground team will meet you and escort you directly to your private aircraft where you will meet your pilot and get ready for the first leg of your journey to the Sand River Camp in the Maasai Mara.

  • The flight time to Sand River Camp is approximately 1 hour, flying over the Ngong Hills, routing south of Mt Suswa and onto the plains of the Maasai Mara. 

  • After landing at the bush airstrip close to the camp, you will be welcomed by the lodge staff who will be waiting with a refreshing drink and a cold face cloth. 

  • The game driving vehicle will take you to the camp for you to check-in and your bags will be taken to your room. 

  • A late afternoon game drive will give you a glimpse of the vast landscape and wildlife before stopping for a sundowner at a special and private viewing point.

  • Dinner is served around 8PM but before you enjoy the tasty cuisine, you can sit, relax and have a few drinks around the campfire, the perfect time to reflect on the day’s activities.  

Day 2 and 3 :

  • You will get to decide how you want to spend the next couple of days in the Mara.  Activities include game drives, cultural activities, hot air balloon rides or scenic flights in your private aircraft. You may simply decide to relax at the camp. This is your safari and we are here to make sure you make the most of it, so remember to enjoy it in any way you like and speak with your pilot if you need help deciding! 

Day 4 : 

  • After breakfast, you will be taken to the airstrip to fly to your next destination, Amboseli National Park. The flight is a little over an hour and routes along the Kenya/Tanzania border passing Lake Magadi in Kenya and Lake Natron in Tanzania. You will next fly alongside Mt Kilimanjaro, allowing you to take in its momentous beauty before landing in Amboseli National Park. Known as the land of giants, this is where you will be able to observe large elephant herds with some of the world's biggest tuskers. 

  • On arrival at your camp, you will be given time to settle in before going on an afternoon game drive, followed by a sundowner. 

  • The evening will be spent enjoying an exquisite dinner, drinks and conversations. This is the perfect time to relax and contemplate your African adventure so far. 

Day 5 : 

  • You can decide to go on an early morning game drive or enjoy a sleep in. After breakfast, you will head back to the airstrip, where you will be whisked away for an exciting day of flying, exploring Kenya’s landscape from the African skies. You will fly over Tsavo West and the outlining conservancies before a quick stop in Mombasa to clear immigration for the flight to Tanzania.

  • Once airborne again you will have breathtaking aerial views of Mombasa and Diani Beach with its exquisite turquoise beaches and small outlying Islands. 

  • You will land at Kilimanjaro International Airport for immigration purposes before heading to the Serengeti National Park.  

Day 6 and 7 : 

  • Over the next two days, you will get the opportunity to explore the famous Serengeti and observe its inhabitants. Game drives can be easily arranged, allowing you to fully experience the unique landscape and wilderness that is the Serengeti plains. You can also spend time relaxing at the camp or enjoy a bush meal in the wilderness. 

Day 8 : 

  • On your last day, you will enjoy a hearty breakfast before departure to the airstrip for the final leg of your journey back to Nairobi.

  • Upon landing, we will be on hand to help you unload. The strangers you met will feel like long life friends making goodbyes bittersweet, but the experiences gained will be yours to keep forever!

NIGHT 1, 2 and 3

Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border. Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of the 1920s, with exclusive permanent tented camps. Sand River Masai Mara comprises of 16-tented accommodations - including 1 family tent - each divided into two separate but adjoining campsites, with each area possessing its own designated dining and public areas, creating an increased sense of exclusivity and privacy.

NIGHT 5, 6, and 7

Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away. The Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time. Hidden among the rocky outcrops, the Serengeti Migration Camp is located at the starting point of the migration. Comprising of 20 luxurious elevated tents, each with spacious and richly furnished bedrooms, the Serengeti Migration Camp blends seamlessly into the environment. Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush.
